Plumbing System page on R.L. Deppmann's WebsiteR. L. Deppmann is pleased to offer a new webpage for commercial and institutional plumbing contractors and engineers. This page will offer you tools and tips for plumbing system design and product selection. It starts now and will continue to grow into the future.

Efficiency in Plumbing System Design

We all try to do more with less. It becomes difficult to design every project from birth to graduation as if it were an only child. Sometimes we need tools that get us focused on the right solution to match our clients without having to stop and think of every detail. Sound Familiar?

The goal of our new plumbing pages is to help you on the journey to the correct solution that meets the client’s needs while saving you time. Over time, you will be the judge determining if we achieve our goal.

R. L. Deppmann’s Plumbing Pages

Take a look at the two active pages: Pressure Boosters and Domestic Water Recirculation. Over the next several articles I hope to show you how the site, product choices, and the tools provided will help you design and select equipment accurately and efficiently. We are starting with pressure boosters and recirc. systems and will add other system types later this year.

Speaking of Plumbing…

Legionella in a plumbing system is a real concern. NSF International, formerly the National Sanitation Foundation (NSF) has a Legionella Conference in September 2019.

The American Society of Heating Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) announced this month, the formation of a team to create an ASHRAE Standard 514 to address building water quality. This standard will take the NSF standard 444 and expound on it. If you are interested in being a part of this team, visit the ASHRAE website and join. If you want change… invest your time and be a part of the solution.

Next week, the R. L. Deppmann Monday Morning Minutes will look at pressure boosters and the assistance you will get by visiting our web page.
