Gas and Propane Fired Tankless Condensing Water Heaters
Tankless water heaters combine the high efficiency of condensing water heaters with the immediate availability of hot water. The storage inside of a tankless heater is very minimal and used to protect people from temperature fluctuations due to immediate load changes. Tankless design efficiency is superior to instantaneous designs, particularly at low and recirculation loads.

Hydronic Boiler Source Indirect Water Heaters
Often a hot water heating plant has extra capacity built in to use the boiler water as the source for heating domestic water. This provides several advantages including less gas-fired equipment, fewer vent protrusions in the structure, and less maintenance.
If the boilers used as the heat source are condensing type, there is an advantage of increasing the boiler plant efficiency using some types of indirect water heaters.

Domestic Water Storage Tanks
Additional storage may be added to any domestic hot water system when dump loads challenge the water heater capacity. Hot water tanks are either steel with a lining or stainless steel. All tanks meet the NSF-61 low lead requirements.
