Webinar Hosted by R.L. Deppmann and Lync by Watts
Description: Over the years, we have seen design requirements change in regards to water wellness. Just a few years ago, we were able to use a domestic water recirculation pump with a timer which stopped flow in the recirc line; that is not the case today. There is a larger focus on system design and product selection that reduces the potential for legionella. Please join us for this one-hour session on Water Wellness and ASHRAE 188.
The need for paying attention to water quality in the built environment has never been greater. Starting January 1, 2022, the Joint Commission is now requiring all healthcare facilities to have a water management plan to reduce hospital acquired infections resulting from the water system, essentially requiring compliance to ASHRAE 188. For those that are unaware, the Joint Commission is an independent, not-for-profit group in the United States that administers voluntary accreditation programs for hospitals and other healthcare organizations.
We are experiencing a lack of skilled labor that can make installation, compliance, and targeted maintenance difficult and costly. Our partners at Lync by Watts have a solution, the Element. A premier packaged plumbing solution that addresses this new requirement and saves time during design, construction, and maintenance manpower for the building owner. Please join us for a one-hour session on the Element from Lync by Watts.
Topics will include:
- Key design features of the fully packaged solution.
- Compliance with ASHRAE 188 requirements.
- Design advantages of a pre-packaged solution.
