This is a basic class and the second in our pump seminar series. This class explains the types of pumps and why you would select one over the other. We identify how a pump operates and various pump failures and some basic causes. We discuss what makes up a pump curve and how to properly select a pump for trouble-free operation and long life. The class ends with variable speed curves, operation, and sensor location discussions. This class is 1-1/2 hours long and is designed for starting Engineers, Designers, Contractors and Wholesalers who have limited knowledge in hydronics. Attendees of this class will leave with a basic knowledge to select single operating pumps to meet the client’s needs.

This class will earn you CEU credits.
