R.L. Deppmann participated in the annual Xylem Watermark Walk for Water Challenge for the fifth year in a row, supporting clean water access for those in need.
Xylem reached out to us with this message in the weeks leading up to the event:
Are you looking for a way to make a difference this summer? Join Xylem Watermark and our channel partners, employees, friends, and family for the 2026 Walk for Water Team Challenge!
From June 1st through June 30th, 2026, we’ll be walking to raise money for schools that lack access to clean drinking water. By participating, you’ll be supporting the Built by Water campaign, a 10-year anniversary initiative from The Chris Long Foundation’s Waterboys, focused on expanding clean water access for youth in both East Africa and the United States…Not only will you be making a difference for a great cause, but you’ll also be showing that big objectives can be met with teamwork…
R.L. Deppmann Employee Participation in the 2026 Challenge
During the month of June, our employees formed three teams and tracked their steps through the Pacer app to help raise awareness and funds for The Chris Long Foundation’s Waterboys Built by Water campaign, a 10-year anniversary initiative aiming to expand clean water access for youth in both East Africa and the United States.
By the end of the challenge, our three teams of ten logged a grand total of 6,672,138 steps! That’s about the same distance as walking from New York, NY to Los Angeles, CA and back 18 times.
Every year, we look forward to this annual opportunity that allows for a team building experience while donating toward a great cause.
