Currently our industry does not have a “standard” method for calculating storm water drainage requirements. This presentation will discuss some of the methods commonly used for calculating the inflow of storm water and sizing the sump basins to provide adequate storage for proper pump run time, we will also review methods for sizing the pumps. Attendee will gain an understanding of basin and pump sizing methods as well as requirements for the placement of the on-off-alarm floats within the basin and common components to allow for pump service.
This class will earn you 1.0 PDH/CEU credit.
